Our ski school
Just like its neighbouring resorts, LA CHAPELLE D’ABONDANCE opened its ski school in 1960 through the impetus given by a group of friends: BENAND Raymond, CRUZ Gaston – Director and active representative for ski development in La Chapelle d’Abondance -, CRUZ MERMY Célestin, CURDY Jean Claude, MARCHAND René and TRINCAZ Francis.
At that time, they were already well-known in the valley for their expertise and the quality of their teaching methods. Today, there are over 60 ski instructors available to guide you throughout the winter season. They all come from the village itself or from the surrounding valley and they are eager to share their passion of our magnificent mountains with you, so that your holiday will even more enjoyable.
